I off the Luke Scott bandwagon, what has he done to deserve this playing time? Also Palmerio only gots one hit this whole month.
Wow...that was crazy! First pitch to Bags and...whack!!! What a great hit and feeling! Great game! I thought he was going to injure his shoulder again with the mugging he took there. lol
who would of thunk it? lol irony at it's best too though we blow chance after chance to put on some runs and in the end, BAGWELL is the one who wins it after missing more than half the year lol sucks that the phillies and marlins are playing each other though, they'll go back and forth with one being a half game back and the other a full game. fingers crossed that backe gets back on track tommorow
I guess the other side of that, though, is that we are guaranteed to put a bit of distance between us and one of those two teams each time we win. Sorta a glass half full, half empty thing.
It's good for us the Phillies and Marlins play each other. Including tonight, here are the remaining schedules: Astros: MIL, 3; @PIT, 4; @CHC, 3; @STL, 2; CHC, 4 Phillies: @FLA, 3; @ATL, 3; @CIN, 3; NYM, 3; @WAS, 3 Marlins: PHI, 3; @NYM, 3; @ATL, 3; WAS, 3; ATL, 3 Nationals: @SD, 3; SFO, 3; NYM, 3; @FLA, 3; PHI, 3 'Stros have a good shot based on the remaining schedules. Because of the way they are playing (since we swept them), the Phillies look the most dangerous. With A.J. Burnett sliding big time, the Marlins will have a tough time.
Hell of a game by everybody tonight (Bags, Lamb, Oswalt, Lidge, everyone else). Also wanted to point out, Garner made some really great moves tonight. I am very glad he's our manager.
hah....i was logging on to post this exact picture.....quite the irony, huh? first aid in the form of JB. this pic makes an awesome wallpaper btw.
