Why do I get the feeling we are indeed looking at Favre listening to this Kubiak presser? He just said they're looking for someone "who's been to the rodeo".

I have a selfish interest for Favre to come back. I wrote a song last year called the "Ballad of Brett Favre" that has lost all relevance but if Brett Favre comes back I can play it again.

The Texans management and style is so ****ing conservative that they don't let ANYTHING sneak out. Even the so called "insiders" don't know what the hell we're gonna do.

Kubiak: As we move forward, whoever we bring in, we hope to catch them up quickly. We are going with TJ and it is his job. We will also bring in someone else. We got to find some experience, someone who has been in a few rodeos and are preparing ourself for down the road.

favre or ....kurt warner (wet dream)??

such a dream scenario. get up to speed over next 3 weeks, start week 15-17, hopefully get a week off, and return for hopefully 2 home games and a trip to the superbowl.

roger clemens would do it if he played football.

I will keep pointing out that if Yates goes out, the Texans will be suiting up their mascot. They really have no choice but to give Favre a phone call.

This may be off the wall but what if we just give Owen Daniels the job and start our own Tebow experiment?
Owen was a back up QB in college so I assume he can at least get the ball in the vicinity of his WR like Tebow.

He can run the ball when he needs to like Tebow.

They are both 6ft 3in they are both in the range of 236-248 lb

All we got to do is develop Daniels love for god this can be done by showing him go to church and have him parse god every now and then.

If we're going to do that, I'd much rather go with my fellow Owl James Casey. Bailiff said he would've played QB at Rice if he stayed another year.

I really don't know what to make of anything anymore. I will say that I believe Yates will be a serviceable quarterback for the Texans this week against the Falcons. After that though is anybody's guess. I ALMOST wouldn't want Favre to come here though, simply because we would instantly become the most hated team in the NFL, and this group of guys does not deserve that. They deserve to be rooted for....not just by us fans, but by the entire nation. They would be the ultimate underdog story if Yates somehow led them to a deep playoff run.
