Honestly, I believe him this time that he will not play again.

Maybe some day the NFL will be able to move on without Brett Favre.

I'm convinced this lockout is just a ploy to give Brett Favre enough time to figure out that he wants to play again......

i'm glad. he wasn't good in his last year and there's no reason for him to come out again, hurt his legacy and mess with a team's chemistry again

Dude, I think Favre is a douche as much as anyone, but the guy's an HOF'er. One of the best QBs ever.

Good to hear. Time for both parties to move on.

Kind of sucks he had to go out the way he did. But then again, I can't decide which 'out' would leave a more sour taste in my mouth: 1) Shooting yourself in the foot to the point where you lost a chance to play for the SB to an inferior team or 2) Coming back the year after and watching the team you had on the cusp of greatness the year before completely imploding (and having your streak broken in the process).

Option #2 is probably worse. Not that I blame him for trying one last time, though.

I would love to see him try to dodge Fairley, Suh and KVB twice a season.
