Favre ending up in Minnesota would be hilarious.

Viking fans wouldn't know what to do.

They've hated this guy with a passion for the better part of 2 decades.

I have been a Viking fan since the Purple People eaters in the 70's

I think Brett Farve is all this team needs to be Super Bowl contenders -- bring him on.

Football bad blood runs a bit deeper than most hated.

However, there are quite a few Viking fans who also love the guy.

Wait... If Favre doesn't retire or suit up a Packer... Wouldn't they have to change this cover? Not just because of the scenario, but like legally be obligated to change it?

He can obviously still play and it's not like he is trying to mess with the Packers. His love for the game is driving him back, and I think he has earned the right to come back if he'd like. If a team wants him, then what's the problem? Also, its true that he might have a sorry last season denting his legacy a bit, but if he's willing to risk it then that's his choice.

You'd think it'd be even worse if he ended up on the Bears, who've had the hate for Favre and the Pack alot worse then the Vikes.

However ironically, this mornings articles in the Chicago papers, were welcoming Favre with open arms.

We already hate a guy more then we have Favre, he's names Rex Grossman.

And secondly, we only hate Favre for that green jersey. We'd LOVE to have him here in Chicago.

And yeah that'd be interesting if he did change teams, thats ALOT of marketing and madden covers to change up to reflect his new team jersey and legalities.

Well if he loves the game then what drove him away just 2 months ago? He just seems full of himself.

He might be full of himself, but he can still play and might be helpful to a team making it a win-win.

most NFL players are forced to retire either due to injuries or decline in their production.

then there are guys like Favre.

    sitting there.

Knowing you can still be the best QB in the NFC at your age.

"Why am I trying to retire?

I'm never going to be able to do this again.

And besides, its a hell of a lot of fun. "

    Ah hell with it.

    I'm coming back again.
