Spurs made a concerted effort to get younger and more athletic.
Rockets made a concerted effort to add experience and bball IQ.

its not just after he got injured, hes passed up shots since the season started. one would think with his quick release, all he needs is a little daylight.

True, but it's shocking that we keep letting him try to guard players he has no chance against. I couldn't believe how long Adelman let him try to cover Barbosa when we played Phoenix.

Barry needs to play when the matchups make sense. He isn't far from Steve Novak when it comes to being a defensive liability. On the other hand, he's far more intelligent and capable offensively, i.e., more than just a good shooter.

I seriously shook my head and almost started laughing when I saw him guarding Barbosa.

He's capable on offense but if the rotation came down to him versus Wafer I would have to go with Wafer. Hopefully he gets it going. Almost made a 3 in the game tonight but it rimmed out.

I was wincing whenever Barbosa got the ball. Even worse was seeing Brooks, Head and Barry on the court at the same time. Opposing perimeter players were all licking their chops begging for the ball.

He's got a bad thumb sprain on his shooting hand; as any shooter can tell you, that type of injury plays havoc with both range and accuracy.

On a brighter side, Coach Adelman is using Barry as a "player coach", especially with the second unit. Doing a great job.
