Brent Barry is 36 and his body is breaking down. This injury may or may not be reoccurring with Barry approaching middle age. So like I said, making a move for Barry is risky.
He played well in College and in Preseason. I say give him some blowout game garbage time and see what happens
why is that a risk if we just give up a 13th pick in the 2nd round who has done bacially nothing and sign a vet for just a little money for the remainder of the season?
Guy can flat out shoot and he's a hustler and scrambler like his brother Jon and he brings that toughness and experience with him where he goes.....I say sign him up !
Since both his dad and his brother played for the Rockets. I think we have a pretty good lobbying power.
Man, y'all know that dude going back to the Sperms. He gets 30-days rest, and gets more money since they still have some of their MLE left. That's as no brainer as it gets for a player his age.
I thought when I guy was cut and signed by another team, his pay from the new team just came out of what the old team has to pay. In effect, that amount shouldn't matter.
Brent Barry,It doesn't matter,if you don't wanna come to houston, but don't go back to spurs. They shouldn't trade you ,it breaks man's heart!it is business.
It would be awesome to get Barry back. I have been wanting him on the Rockets for 8 years. Too bad he is already old now (almost exactly my age, hey, that's actually not really old... ), but even at his age, Barry >>> Wells. One thing many overlooked was how Wells dragged the team down with his FT shooting. Bad FT shooting is contagious...and when people point out that Wells attacked the basket and got us free throws, they often fail to mention how he would then brick those free throws afterwards. Barry, on the other hand, is an excellent free throw shooter. If Morey manages to pull this one off, he'd prove to be the wizard once again. Barry, Bobby Jackson, Gerald Green >> Wells, Mike James, Snyder
