    BTW, while researching much cheaper watches as I need one, too, I learned that apparently ebay and other online venues are FULL of fake "big name" watches. People are unkowingly paying hundreds and thousands of dollars for fakes. Be careful.

    I agree. It looks like a 120 dollar Seiko. Its not even on par with any of the other watches listed in this thread. The other watches at least look expensive and have some character to it.

    maybe he wanted something simple and that had a platinum bezel from rolex. platinum is not cheap just so ya know :rolleyes:
