He is probably "mentally ill" as he might be a white guy... other wise, a terrorist, a gangster, etc... etc...
Guy showed up 20 minutes before the mall closes, hardly a high traffic time. Reports saying he shot at a few security cameras and walked out. Police only found one casing, and only one reported injury. I'm not saying he was only looking for attention, but it doesn't seem like he went there with the intent to cause mass casualties. Doesn't make much sense either way.
Yeah, I'm a bit confused as well. At first I thought it might have just been a gang shooting or a robbery. Apparently that's not the case. And about 95% of the mall is closed at that hour anyway, so it's really strange altogether.
I think the point is that, in these shootings...when its a white person, the media blames it on mental illness...when its a middle easterner, they call him a terrorist...when its an African American, they call him a gangster, etc...
I guess it depends on the individual's motivation. Most of them are mentally ill, but black people don't generally commit mass murders. When has the media incorrectly categorized a suspect in one of these cases? I'm not sa
http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/20...e_of_possible_suspect.html#incart_maj-story-1 Seems like they have a suspect
Well it does depend on how it's done. Black guy with rifle popping large amounts of people in DC = terrorist. Black guy running around eating people's faces = disturb. Black guy holding hand gun sideways shooting people = gangsta.
An unstable person with easy access to guns. But lets be real....access to guns is soooooo easy in america that this problem will not be solved with the current approach.
I think this style of going out will become more and more common especially with the attention paid to the shooters.
