I would we would have better law enforcement than the federalis.

 

Placing barriers between psychopaths and guns prevents psychopaths from committing gun crimes. If someone wants to do something, they will attempt to do it only to a certain extent. Too many mountains to climb, too many hoops to jump through, gives more opportunities for the situation to be defused.

 

It's not being a troll seeing YET ANOTHER horrific act of gun violence and wondering immediately why we continue to permit it to happen.

While there is an argument for guns as the reason there is CLEARLY an argument that society is to blame as well. So to blast one side or the other without offering retorts of said arguments accomplishes nothing.

Guns aren't the problem... a crazy person will find a way to get them anyways. Crazy is the real issue. There are much larger problems at play. That said, banning guns only makes people powerless. To trade that freedom for a false sense of security spits on everything this country was founded on. Too soon to argue this? Yes, but some of you opened that door already with your uninformed none sense. I suggest this gets moved to the D&D already because this is where it's going.

We need a serious history lesson as a country. Gun control was stricter in the past than it is now. A lot of frontier towns made it illegal to carry a gun into town. You either left it at home or checked it in at the local police station.

 

Try to make a bomb capable of killing 20+ people vs. going and buying a gun.

You could literally look up 100's of ways to make them with a quick google search or you could order a book on how to make them which I THINK is what the columbine kids did.

 

Yes to all of your questions. You can make a bomb with stuff you can buy from Home Depot, and you can make a gun and ammo out of spare parts and a CNC machine.

I encourage you to look up "3D Printing Guns." Because if we do not get a handle on mental health issues, gun control won't matter considering that with a computer, you'll be able to print out all the guns your heart desires.
