People who want Mike Brown, don't like winning basketball.

I'm almost sure this was 70% Morey and I'm fine with it.

Martin is DM's signature transaction. I really hope that he isn't going anywhere.

Sad to see him go. But if it really came down to Morey vs Adelman, then I think the Rockets made the only reasonable decision they could make. I just hope they find a good replacement.

... Seems like such a unique situation, though. We have/had a very good coach and a very good GM, and one basically pushed the other out the door. A shame they couldn't find a way to work together.

Man, Les is an idiot. RA is one of the best coaches this franchise has ever had. Is Les a lot more meddling than we thought?

it will be a couple season before our young squad can truly contend... rick would be super old balls by then.

i am dissappointed because i thought adelman did great, BUT let's wait and see who the rockets have in mind...

i will be pissed if adelman's replacement sucks.

Who is saying they want Mike Brown? I have seen nothing but negative comments here about him.

but seriously... I'm pretty sad and disappointed Rick won't be coming back to coach. I feel like we're just a piece or 2 away from being contenders and with Rick coaching that group we would do wonders.

I completely agree. I because an Adelman fan when he was with the Kings. He got screwed out of a championship and I was hoping he could get it here. After all, Morey got Thabeet and what was Rick supposed to do with that. Maybe that's the disagreement. Rick can't develop garbage.

Adelman was troubled that organization wouldn't offer an extension during season. Two names to watch for job: Mike Brown and Stan Van Gundy.

Not broken-hearted Adelman's done. His was a great offensive system; I feared he was losing some of his snap in making substitutions and time-outs-- well, let's not sugar-coat it: his game management sucked. If not for his stubborn allegiance to AB and some other starters-- or any player who was clearly having an off night-- we'd still be playing.
