I think the Redskins and Rams makes the most sense. Both need big play receivers, neither really have a lot to lose. the Rams could make a run at the division, but if not, shake it off and move on without him next year. The Skins are in a dire situation and on the verge of an 8-8 season. This move could keep them competitive.
Here's another longshot possibility. Every team passes on him... the Vikings have to eat his salary... and he signs a one year deal, super cheap, with any team he wants to chase a ring...
If he makes his way back to New England. . . . If I were the Vikings I'd cry Collusion. Everyone knows Patriots will cheat when possible Rocket River
With the way he has been playing/trying, that seems like a big time possibility. I wouldn't pay 6+ million for a guy who has a awful work ethic and doesnt give any effort.
There is no chance he makes it past Dallas on the waiver wire. Jerry will sign him for the publicity alone.
He has a $6.4 million base salary this year so the teams that claims him will be the hook for $3.39 million for the rest of the year.
Uhhh... the Vikings waived him. And EVERY team in the NFL has waiver priority over #1 ranked New England. I'd like to see them try to cry anything... they'd get laughed at more than they already are.
The odds of the Texans going for Moss are about as good as the odds that Neil Rackers scores a touchdown tonight.
Why would to Vikings cry collusion? They are the team that waived him. He has the right to sign with any team if he clears waivers.
Well done. So now ESPN is going to be raiding with all of this Moss bull **** while the Texans are about to play the Colts on MNF.
Another crazy alternative: the UFL would get its best publicity yet if Moss got shunned by the NFL and he signed with someone there.
@JasonLaCanfora Texting with a few general managers in Randy Moss - several believe he ends up back with the Patriots.
If he goes back to the Patriots... the ESPN headline will read: "Patriots trade Randy Moss to Vikings for 3rd round pick and Randy Moss"
