What black success are you referring to?

African American unemployment rate is 16.2% (the national average is still at 9.1% I believe). For African American teenagers it is 41% (national average is around 25%).

Maybe he just wants to see that disparity fixed? Maybe you can't process African American success and that's why you support Obama keeping the brothas down?

I honestly don't know how much racism by basso this bbs will tolerate.

It's all been blatant including his patronizing use of faux ebonics. But perhaps as racist as anything he's posted is him trying to hide behind Cain support as proof that he isn't racist. Maybe it would be less acceptable if basso posted in a fake hispanic speedy gonzalez accent.

Of course it's no surprise that someone who is as anti-homoesexual rights as basso would support CAIN.

    Here's Colbert's take on it.

So what's the plan now? Pull out of Iraq and station more troops in Afgahnistan. Invade Iran or support Iranian rebellion through Afghani side?

    1. Saddam - Check
    2. Momar - Check
    3. Mahmourd - Next

If you just wanted to bet the action bet Syria.

I'll bet on a peace dividend; only a low key, high tech war on the Paki border. You might even see Hillary get India to back off some so the Pakistani Regular Army can redeploy some loyal troops.

How about a 100,000 Chinese miners in Afghanistan? Fine with me.

In this day and age, can you be anti-homosexual and moral? I mean, really, how much ignorance can we tolerate?

Good news. It is a good day for Iraqi freedom. Good news for the 1% of working Americans who have born the real cost rather than the chickenhawks who merely put yellow ribbons and bumperstickers for a couple of years till they lost interest. Still sad to think of the hundreds of thousands murdered so psycopathically by Bush-Cheney with an assist from many gutless folks in Congress and the media.

Still all in all the best that could realistically happen.

In an ideal world we would pay the Iraqis a couple of trillion in reparations and Bush and Cheney would be put in prison for life after a trial at the Hague.

I don't think Bush deserves to be in prison, he was mislead into going to war (that's why you shouldn't elect a C+ student). Its the military complex that made it happen, you don't spend 700 billion annually on your military and expect there to be no consequences to it. Unfortunately while policing the world there is a conflict of interest between whats good for America and what is the right thing to do. There needs to be another world wide body like the UN (which is more equally representative of the globe) which needs to take on that role, until that happens, the US military machine will keep doing what it needs to do.

guess what.. referencing it doesn't prove you're not racist

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Ehrenstein

The title of the piece, "Obama the 'Magic Negro'", was later used in a musical parody called Barack the Magic Negro by conservative satirist Paul Shanklin. This piece of music caused some controversy in late December, 2008, when compact discs featuring the song were distributed by Tennessee political activist Chip Saltsman (a candidate for chairman of the Republican National Committee) to various Republican Party activists as Christmas gifts.

Yeah, it was similar with the gleeful race baiting by T_J as well. I love this place, but that aspect I don't get so much. I guess if he called another poster a "magic negro" or whatever, then he would get the boot. But a public figure is fair game, as long as he never played for the Rockets.

That's my interpretation? At least it lets these certain posters expose themselves, and it least it lets the rest of us (at least when people quote them) know that the sentiment is out there, alive and sick among us.

Well he did promise to get US troops out of Iraq and it looks like he is living up to that promise.
