    I hope people that don't go to church and watch this think about going BACK to church. Jesus loves us so why not check him out on a Sunday. Life is precious so appreciate it.

    The city is spending $4 million on this. A city in a state that is bankrupt and considering laying off teachers and fireworkers, issuing IOUs to cover government expenses is paying $4 million to hold a memorial for a private citizen.

    i just get on the stream like 5 min ago, watched stevie wonder and i look over and it's kobe and magic. ugh, i can't stand kobe. am i the only one p!ssed about it? :mad:

    I believe that a couple of years ago, Jermaine (who is a Muslim) said MJ showed an interest in Islam but I don't think it was ever confirmed if he converted or not.

    The Jackson's were Jehovah's Witnesses.

    I'm sure this event made more money for the state than whats been spent. Moreover, he'll bring in more cash to the state than this miniscule expenditure, just imagine how many people will come to see the Neverland ranch...the dudes got many crazy fans all over the world.

    My dad works for the City of Houston and he said he met Sheila Jackson Lee in person...and that she's all talk, but she doesn't do anything to improve benefits of workers...


    surprised to see her representing Houston...

    i have mixed emotions about this speech...
