Feel sorry for the younger generation... Who do they have to inspire them, The Jonas Bros, Hannah Montana? No wonder kids are out of control...

You realize that most generations say this about the next generation's music right?

I was going to go over to UCLA med but my roommate who just started med school there this past week told me not to even try the media was a mess there.

I was very close to buying tickets to go see his final shows in london, one of my life's biggest regrets is not seeing him perform live.

Say what you want about the man's personal life, when it came to making music there was few that could equal this man's talent, very few.

His music reached all corners of the globe.

I remember went I went to India in 1989 my cousin lived in a pretty remote village and all he had was indian music the one tape he had that was english was Thriller and he said he had to buy a second copy since he played his first one so much.

His songs would still fill up the floor at clubs here whenever things were getting slow. Just start playing Don't Stop on a semi-filled floor and just see it swell up in no time.

    Everyone's favorite rumor mill:

MJ took an injection of Demerol at 11:30AM yesterday, and family members thought that the dosage was "too much". At least one family member had wanted to put him in rehab for painkiller addiction. Doctor who administered the injection is MIA, cops were looking for him and his BMW was towed from the house.

There are a select few whose music is so good that it transcends generations. Michael Jackson was one of those people.

TMZ reporting that the Doctor that lived at Mikes is nowhere to be found. He apparently gave him a shot before MJ died.

Nowadays there is no creativity, talent and ingenuity in these young kids.. Everything is a push of a button, instant access to money and fame...

You guys need to get your sarcasm meters checked.

Justin Timberlake is alright in my book, but I don't see how anyone can just assume that kind of title "The King of Pop", and what passes for "Pop" these days is horse****.

Mike's music was rock and roll, pop, hip-hop, soft rock R&B, and whatever the hell else.

    It was special.

Bro, thats what I said earlier. I think folks here in the States underestimate just how massive Michael and his music were all over the world, in the biggest of cities and the smallest of villages.

I also feel you on regretting not seeing him live. I feel that way about the two MJ's, Jackson and Jordan. Gutted to have never seen them live and I tell you those that got to see Michael Jackson live have a memory I bet they've treasured since and will onto dearly now.

I don't think there is any way that Jackson's death won't have some sort of massive scandal attached to it. There sure are a lot of people coming out of the woodwork telling everyone how terrible he looked recently and how worried they were about his drug use.

Amen to that. I had to save money for while in college to get MJ's music
video on VCD (if you know what that is, once so popular in China) even though I had to wait even longer to be able to play it on computer.

    RIP

My favorite Michael Joke was always

"Michael likes his men like he likes his scotch... 12 years old and full of coke"

But this really isn't the time or place, I suppose.

    OOPS NO EDIT BUTTON.

MJ was more than just dance moves. His music had real substance. They had a message.Unlike lots of the songs today that are about disco sticks and running it or getting it popping. Sure Mike had tracks where it was all about having fun and girls, but he also had songs like Black or White, They Don't Really Care About Us and We Are The World that were very powerful songs.

    ^ suprising.

Either "hip-hop artists" or "R&B" singers or "rappers" are the only ones in that relationship chart. :p

    Michael Jackson Doctor -- MIA
Posted Jun 26th 2009 10:00AM by TMZ Staff

We've learned law enforcement is looking for a doctor who lived at Michael Jackson's home -- and the doctor is nowhere to be found.

Law enforcement sources tell us a BMW belonging to the doctor was towed from Jackson's home last night.

Cops are looking to interview the doc.

A law enforcement source says the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died.

Jackson reportedly may have OD'd on Demerol. As we first reported, family members were concerned that Jackson was taking too much morphine.

    Jackson Family Feared Morphine OD
Posted Jun 26th 2009 9:09AM by TMZ Staff

Members of Michael Jackson's family told us the singer was given a "heavy dose of morphine" prior to his death, and family members were alarmed.

We're told Joe Jackson recently wanted to put Michael in a rehab facility in Palmdale, California for what he considered an "addiction" to morphine and prescription drugs.

Family members say they felt he was unable to perform for his upcoming concerts because of his drug use.

Members of the upcoming tour tell TMZ Jackson was generally lethargic and very late for rehearsals.

There are reports Jackson OD'd yesterday on Demerol, a drug similar to morphine.

Interestingly, Jackson wrote a song called "Morphine" in 1997. One of the lyrics -- "Demerol. Demerol. Oh God he's taking Demerol."
