i may not have my facts straight but the chronology of this post doesn't make sense. IIRC, "Never underestimate the heart of a Champion" was uttered by Rudy T after the Rockets won the 2nd championship in '95. that's the same year we played SA to get to the finals, meaning it was HOU vs SA before it was HOU vs ORL. how can you use "Never underestimate the heart of a Champion" before it was even said? unless, of course, those were your words before Rudy T.

    You a Rocket fan?

The Rockets were DEFENDING champions. (They won in '94, also - he uttered the phrase, I believe, during the Utah (1st) series - Rockets were continually coming from behind that year - until they jumped on the Spurs)

The Spers have had some very good basketball teams, but they always have had heart of wusses. They have never come back from anything, and when the going gets tough they have always retreated faster than you can say "french fry".

It is a crime for them to use such a phrase, I hope Dallas disposes of them tonight.

Those words were uttered after the Orlando sweep in '95 as they were clutching the championship trophy. The Rockets played the Blazers, Suns, Utah, and Knicks in '94. Rudy T. said that catch phrase after we came from behind to beat Utah and Phoenix in '95 and AFTER we beat SA and Orlando. We were the 6th seed in the West and everyone counted us out. Those words were from the speech he gave in center court after game 4 vs Orlando.
