it was at 116th and Park Ave what a terrible tragedy. as Juan Valdez pointed out, not surprising and unfortunate. some pretty poor assumptions about the neighborhood in question, race, terrorism, etc.
My cousin lives in a co-op about 5 blocks from there. I had to double check his address when I heard the news to make sure it wasn't his building.
that's obvious. I'm talking about the initial remarks about the neighborhood and its residents, and why or why not terrorists would decide to attack such an area.
