http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/22887392#22887392 OH NO! Now there's a guy at a house sitting in a living room flipping through a wedding album...! EDIT: *whew*... "regularly scheduled program"
They explained the likely reason the kid wasn't in school about an hour ago. I didn't catch exactly what they said though.
1) No one inside 2) Report that the basket was not breached in anyway. If someone got into the basket, it would have had to be breached for them to then get out. Unless of course as he fell 7000 feet he took the time to close the door behind him?
It seems that the parents are smart enough that they will have to pay $$ if they did this as a publicity stunt.
Which contradicts "not breached." So... I hoping for a mischievous kid... or family... at this point.
- Kid not in balloon. - Balloon hull never breached (so he never could have been in it). - Family is has been on reality shows and youtube videos. The only way the kid could be hurt at this point is if he held onto the balloon as it rose. Given he's only 6, that seems unlikely.
Well I just read authorities are not ruling out that he fell. Could he not have climbed over the walls or are they too big. Sorry, I haven't read or heard of any dimensions on the thing yet.
Well they are now saying on CNN that they aren't ruling out that he fell out somehow, so maybe the report about no breach isn't entirely accurate? There was certainly no VISIBLE breach on the video of the thing landing.
There are no walls on this thing. It's weirdly shaped. It's not a hot air balloon and was apparently never meant to hold passengers. The "basket" is connected to the balloon system itself.
I don't like the word "breached" in this situation. Was this some sort of high tech device that had some sort of top secret sealed door? The damn thing was made out of tin foil, how hard would it be to breach the door? I doubt its even a real door. This sounds ridiculous.
I dont understand how this is so complicated, from what I see, doesnt look like anyone was ever in it...
Well it means there was no "opening" on the structure that was actually open when it landed, nor was there a hole that had been punched it somehow.
