I'm glad this happened. This immediately says two things. 1. We're rebuilding 2. We're going into the 2010 sweepstakes. Both of which I'm in favor of.
Well Ron tweeted saying "Thank A lot Houston, Had a lot of Fun" Now you read between the lines on that.
How quickly we went from being 'one small step away' from title contention to now being in 'rebuilding' mode. Just sad.
I don't mind letting Ron walk, but why only offer a 1-year deal? This is really his last chance to get another big contract!
This is what I posted in the other Artest thread... Sounds like a one year deal was offered to force a sign and trade, or to just get him to walk. Thanks for an entertaining year, Ron.
Morey's one year offer may be leverage in forcing Ron's agent to a sign and trade deal and pick up some assets.
Dude....you have posted this in no less than 7 different threads. What can we give you over the internet to make you feel whole again. I never even saw your Nostradamus-like prediction but since you are convinced you are owed some sort of prize....let's start negotiating.
It's sad,but we have no other choice. It's ok. What has to be done, should be done. Just keep away from bad contracts,eg this Varejao stuff for instance,if true.
The last step to this disappointing young offseason is Gortat does not go to the Rockets. That McGrady contract just got a lot harder for other teams to obtain.
There's few things more amusing on this board than when some relatively obscure douche proffers up a "prediction" which amounts to what is already considered a common-sense foregone conclusion by everyone else, and then comes back and gloats about his prescience.
