If we get Varejao I'll break down in tears. From anger. And Artest, honestly, thanks a lot, you really brought toughness and a good attitude to the team. You'll be sorely missed.
Crap...He's gonna be with Kobe now.....This wont be good post season...I agree though, He wasnt going to be back.
loved his personality, but i can live without his play, as long as we get a significant acquisition this summer So i know we can't offer the as high amount of money to another player as we could have to ron because we had ron's bird rights or something....but do we still have some "extra" money now from not signing him?
Will have to wait and see... You never know what can happen in the coming days of the offseason. IMWT In Morey we Trust
If we hold onto T-Mac this season we'll have plenty of money for 2010 anyways. But lets be honest, we're not getting Lebron of Dwayne
This team is falling fast. Last year, there was talk of championship, our big 3, Tmac, Yao, and Artest... even hopes of Francis coming back. Now, we'll start next season without any of them...
I can see why they would be somewhat interested in Zaza, but why Varejao? If DM wants to save money for 2010,what would be the length of any potential contracts?
i dnt believe he can sign with LA unless they lose out on odom...they had enough trouble having money to re-sign Ariza, which is why they had to sell their pick....i wouldn't be too worried if ron replaced Odom, doesn't make LA better..
where's the quote on Varejao, i read one earlier, but it was only speculation since we expressed interest in the past and he's now available..
Anyone else thinking that the pistons might sign artest? Only the pistons can offer artest more money than houston I think.
I was glad to have Ron this year, but I don't think the team will miss his production terribly. Rockets and Ron both got their monies worth. If we had Yao and TMac starting the season, I think this would be bigger news. Since our plans have changed, Ron doesn't really fit in.
Are you trying to cite insidehoops.com as a source? Are you kidding me? That is, without a doubt, the most troll-infested basketball forum on the internet. I have a user name there since 2006 and nothing has changed. I'm not even going to get into it. No one should ever have to visit that website. Sometimes, though, it's refreshing to hear the "opinions" from idiots.
We might end up with no star in our lineup at the season opening nite. We really need to think about TANKING.
