Remember when Cuttino wanted us to trade the first pick for Lamar? I think he said something like, "If you put L-O on this team with myself and Stevie, it's over."

He was so adamant that a Cat/Franchise/LO trio would be the next Rockets dynasty.

I love Cat, but I'm glad we ignored him and took Yao.

I think Lamar was happy we did the same. He may have not had the chance to win with Kobe (eeew) if we made a deal for him.

He was initially cursed by the Jazz, but we all saw what happened to Shandon Anderson after he came here.:p I'm glad Lamar didn't suffer the same regression.

I thought Cat said that about Jay Williams as support of taking him over Yao, but I could be wrong.

Maybe I'm wrong...you're probably right. That makes more sense. For whatever reason, I thought it was related to L-O.

    _________________________________________________________________________________________
Cuttino Mobley appeared on Fox Sports "Best Damn Sports Show Period" Thursday, and though he didn't speak negatively of Yao Ming, he didn't speak positive of him at all either.
Instead, the Rockets shooting guard raved about the possibility of trading the pick for Lamar Odom.

Mobley discussed many topics, but when asked point blank if the Rockets should select Yao with the #1 pick in the NBA Draft, Cuttino paused for a long time, slowly smiled and looked down as if he couldn't hide his negative feelings about the pick.

When asked who he would rather have, Mobley spoke up.

"Um... somebody's proven," said Mobley. "What we can do is, and coach I love you, (but) what would be good, and Steve and I were talking about this, is trade the first round pick and get someone already established."

The hosts of the show all said in unison "Lamar Odom" (almost as if it was planned to discuss before the show), and that was the bone Cuttino needed to get going on the topic. Cuttino raved about Lamar, who like him went to the University of Rhode Island, and added, "With Lamar running the break and Steve and I on the wings... it's over."

Thankfully, Stephen A. Smith of the Philadelphia Inquirer acted like Mobley was crazy, and asked why the Rockets, with their most pressing need being size, would want "another brother as skinny as me and you". John Salley asked point blank if there would be enough basketballs to go around since Mobley and Francis like to shoot, and shoot often.

But Mobley stuck to his guns.

"We can adjust to all that because I can spot up shoot, Steve will run the wing and Lamar is a playmaker," said Cuttino in response. "[Odom] doesn't need to shoot the ball 20 times, he's never had to even in high school. He's the type of guy who will put up 14 shots, draw double teams and tip-in shots because he's so tall. Lamar, he can shoot it out there and he can get to the cup."

When asked what his response would be if the Rockets selected Duke point guard Jay Williams, said Mobley, "That's disrespectful. We have Steve Francis (who) is one of the top three point guards. That would be a stab in the back (by Rockets management)."

Overall, I found it amusing that Mobley was so blunt on the air, and if the Rockets do take Yao, it could be interesting

To be fair, it was Yao for Odom and the clippers pick which would have been Amare. I would say Amare and Odom has had more success than Yao.

He went in.I guess I'm not the only one that dislikes Harden's shenanigans.

"But I would be doing the same thing. He's only 26, he's networth is 300 million" -apologist

I know this, but I meant that in respect to Yao's worth and value to the franchise.

Herbal is probably both less regulated than Viagra and not illegal like coke. He may also have wanted to overindulge to an uncomfortable amount from a doctor's or just controlled substance perspective, between Anna Nicole and Michael Jackson stuff has probably gotten pretty strict in the last few years.

His former coach Jim Harrick in Los Angeles, who said Odom sounded upbeat on a call just a few weeks ago, said Kardashian told him that Odom is now off dialysis, and that he showed a response when she reached down to say ''Lamar, I love you.''

''Khloe has promised me she's going to stay by his bedside until she and him can walk out of the hospital together,'' Harrick said.

Kardashian rushed to his side that night and since then, friends, teammates and loved ones, including his two children, have visited and posted messages on social media asking for prayers.

Harden, do you really really really have no other option? You still want to be involved with all this?

I have to disagree a bit with you. Viagra is easy to get from a doctor. Heck, for years (and probably today) you could get a trial supply for free. Just tell your MD that you have a problem getting an erection from time to time. Why Odom took this other route is a mystery to me. My guess is that someone gave him that herbal crap. Some "favor."

You do know it is possible to care about someone from a prior marriage, right?

Harden needs to be there so he can mature up a bit more. Whats that show were they put the bad kids in jail to see what its like? Same concept.

Absolutely, nothing wrong with it. They can re-marry to if there's still love, abolustely nothing wrong with it. Notice I am not saying Khloe is doing anything wrong. Only Odom is the one to blame doing something irresponsible and harming himself.

My comment is whether Harden really wants to get involved in all this because she is the only one in the whole universe and he has no other fresh option.

I am glad that Lamar has woken up. Hopefully his brain is also functional too and will be able to communicate soon and not just involuntary movements.

Also for those who say they dont' care..well I dont' care what you have to say either. Why do you feel the need to make 5+ posts in a thread about LMO? Do you think that you are so self important? Just take your cold heart and move on.
