I hope Harden hasn't done a f'ing thing this summer but relax, smoke some ganja and sleep with a ton of women. He has logged a lot of minutes and never took a summer to relax. He's been going to the line 10 times a game for 6 years. As long as he is in acceptable shape entering camp, we're good. The trainers will get him to elite shape by the end of camp, and he will start slow so that he is not dead by the end of the season. He's earned that and it doesn't make sense anymore at this juncture of our window for him to spend his 2 months off adding more mileage.

"Fat" or not, doesn't matter to me. Eye test tells me he's an elite player and that's all that matters.
Only issue with this is that nothing takes more effort than getting back into prime shape once you've lost it. Recovering from all that relaxing and smoking and fvcking is probably going to be harder on him than just staying in shape. But let's hope not.
I think you're thinking of a situation where someone does literally nothing but that till training camp starts. James Harden is a gym rat and a baller. He's been seen playing basketball for over a month now. Easy as hell for him, and even if it's not the easiest option, it is better than Dwayne Wade-ing his career.
