Trump is a lawyer's worst nightmare. Even when he has the right to remain silent about indictments he doesn't have the capacity to keep his mouth shut.

Who knows. More boxes of secret material could have been transferred to a yacht or vehicle and taken somewhere else from those underground tunnels.

    Remember this story?

Teenager wanders into Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort through tunnel from beach
Student pleads guilty to entering and staying in restricted area while president was staying at property for Thanksgiving.

Giuliani used a tunnel under Mar-a-Lago to go back and forth from Trump's home, where he stayed while he was depressed and drinking heavily.

Didn't say he carried them all at once or that he he didn't use a pallet jack, dolly, or something else to help.

...probably just as likely that the FBI knows that Nauta had some help moving all that crap.

...the Feds let you know they're on to you long before they ever show up at your front door with a warrant and handcuffs. My bet is the FBI interviewed a host of people who voluntarily stated their roles in moving and/or handling any of this stuff... whether at the Donald's or Nauta's specific direction or not.

Rule Numero Uno when dealing with the feds: do NOT lie to them. They already know what's happened if they're asking about it.

Even money says a lot of hands moved all of that stuff at different intervals, and may not have been fully aware of what they were handling...just doing what their boss said.

The government might figure that anybody that fessed up when asked about this initially, wasn't expressly complicit in any attempt to deceive them, and decided to let them off the hook and go after the big fish...;)

And Trump is so loyal to the guy who did all of this at Trump’s behest, that he doesn't help with an attorney. I would think that wouldn't inspire too much loyalty.

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/walt-nauta-pleads-not-guilty-trump-classified-documents-case/

According to a newly unsealed version of an affidavit that supported the August 2022 search warrant, investigators said Nauta — described in the document only as "Witness 5" — was allegedly
seen in the video moving about 50 "Bankers boxes" from a room in Mar-a-Lago in the days after his FBI interview.

His ridiculousness and name calling gets old.
That lying crybaby will NEVER change. Everybody is out to get me. Everyone targeting me is corrupt. The government, the FBI, the DOJ, law enforcement, and everyone accusing me of things I did legally. I am being illegally targeted. This is weaponization by communists, Marxists, and corrupt officials who stole my election. Blah blah blah blah blah.

I have never been subpoenaed in a criminal trial, but is this something that everyone can count on?

This was absolutely to be expected that Trump
Would try to delay the trial as much as possible.

This is where having a Trump appointed and Trump sympathetic judge benefits him. Hopefully since Judge Cannon had been slapped down by the appeal court before she will not be so accommodating to Trump.
