Or, you know, the witness who actually recorded the content leaked it for their own reasons. I only caught a glimpse of the video, and if ircc, the content of the video was already public knowledge as part of the indictment. I don’t think the DOJ has a good reason to leak this. The witness might have a better reason for doing so.
It would be funny if like in the Al Capone trial, the judge swaps out the tainted jury at the last minute.
While trump is demented, I am sure his defense team is convinced that if they just constantly message out false whataboutisms that his loyal supporters will believe and amplify the noise.
Link? We do know now that the MaL raid was leaked by Team Trump and not the DoJ. The easiest explanation for the current leaks is Team Trump is at it again.
I am shocked trump didn't help out his buddy and take the trump plane.............flying commercial is for the peasants.
One holdout isn't likely. Only a very small percentage of cases end in a hung jury at all. But it's also pretty hard to be a lone holdout. There is a lot of pressure to conform to the jury majority. If you've been in a jury situation like that, you've felt that. My wife was recently a lone holdout. The stakes of the case weren't even all that high, but it was an emotional pressure cooker to stick to her guns in the face of 11 jurors who can't go home until she caves. She didn't cave cuz she's stubborn as hell and she hung the jury. Still, that's hard. If you have 3 people who won't conform, they can support each other.
I keep hearing "taken out of context", sorry the context is 100% clear and if you say otherwise, you're simply not listening or don't want to hear the truth
Oops, I guess someone explained the deep doo doo that trump's tape put trump in, so noted legal mind is taking a different tack...
Well, it looks like legal mastermind and trump adviser has decided the first two strategies won't work, so... blame former Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff General Milley. Probably won't fly either... Anger toward Gen. Milley may have led Trump to discuss documents, adding to indictment evidence https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-indictment-documents-mark-milley-mar-a-lago/
The lawyers might be able To answer this but wouldn’t that be grounds for a mistrial as the other jury hasn’t gone through voir dire?
