...you know what they say (the straight "they" and the other "they"): ...jailbirds of a feather...et cetera and so on...
Hmmm, I guess the Fox crew must have had a gun pointed at Trump's headed off camera that made him talk.
This is why I don’t give a lot of credit to Christie, Pence and other Republicans who suddenly seemed to wake up to how bad Trump is. Let’s see if they are saying the same thing if Trump wins the GOP nomination again.
The sad part is, they will all get in line to kiss the ring so they don't lose their comfy jobs or get smeared by the maga base. They will have to walk a fine line in debates so they dont piss off the base, I don't think Christie really cares about the base as he has shown he will go after trump and you know pence has no backbone, he will straddle the fence, and then go back to kissing his a$$
Lindsey Graham during the 2016 GOP primaries said this and he’s been one of Trump’s biggest toadies. Christie can say all sorts of things now going hard after Trump. Let’s see what he’s saying if Trump does win the nomination again.
Over the last 8 years there are only a handful of Republicans that I consider to have actually consistently stood on principle over party. Only one of them is still in office, Mitt Romney. He and Justin Amash were willing to take an actual stand while in office that they knew would cost them politically. Even Liz Cheney didn’t stand up to Trump in the first impeachment vote.
No one is above the law, and there shouldn't be two levels of justice, correct? https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article276608961.html
This is why I will say again that there are so many who claim they hate Trump yet still defend him. It's not whether they will vote for him or campaign for him but that they essentially repeat and validate his own defenses. They make claims like what Durham was investigating was "worse than Watergate" and that prosecutions of Trump are all about politics. Almost all of this done through opinion pieces all the way from Clutchfans to the Durham Report itself. All of this does is to muddy and undermine support in our judicial system without actually addressing the underlying facts of these cases.
Correct, because the underlying facts of the case are damning. that's where trump has led the republican party. Each action they take is in defense of trump.
