You would? Even though the analogy carries no weight due to the "book vs classified material he knowingly took home"? Also, that is admitting guilt and implicitly agreeing to the punishment - fine for an overdue book vs a felony conviction for the materials he took. The judge would laugh that analogy right out of court. It's something I would expect the Rittenhouse prosecutors to argue.
their arguments are weak no doubt, but saying crap like that can piss off a federal judge and wipe out whatever chance they might have had. I think this judge will grant a special master with a limited scope in the end. But some of the nonsense in Team Trumps briefs is beyond bad.
