We know Biden's government salary. But we wouldn't know about other incomes of his, like book deals or speaking engagements which are common among high officials, unless we saw his tax returns. Regarding Trump, if he doesn't report Russian income on his tax return that some journalist knows about, you know he'd write a story about Trump's undeclared income. And if the IRS read an article about Trump having undeclared income, they'd probably investigate it for tax fraud. Then more investigations would follow for corruption. So seeing tax returns that exclude illegal income is still useful disinfectant. He doesn't merely predict violence. He draws a false comparison between Trump's document scandal and Clinton's email server scandal and implies that if Trump was charged after Clinton was not then the outrage that leads to the rioting would be justified.
No one should be against holding the FBI or any gov agencies or employees accountable. Who knows what the investigation (about FBI misconduct) will end up finding (all these media reporting have offered not much of anything) but many people have no interest in deflating their current assumption that the FBI is horribly biased against Trump and biased favorably toward Biden or the Democrats. To take that position, they have to somehow ignore these facts: From past investigations, the DoJ and the FBI are serious about investigating biases and crimes within themselves. Hunter Biden has been under investigation by the DoJ/FBI (and maybe the IRS) through two administrations (Trump and Biden). The FBI investigated Clinton publicly and thoroughly during an election year that very much impact her election chances while the FBI quietly investigated Trump during the same time. One note on inconsistency. A few bad apples don't make the whole organization bad to the core. I hear that often (especially from the right) when it's about police misconduct (and I agree). But when it comes to the FBI today, at least one poster here believes a few bad apples make the whole organization very biased against Trump. I believe that sentiment is pretty wild spread among Trump's apologists and definitely among the Trump cult.
The Democrats passed some of the most meaningful legislation in history under LBJ and then forced his a$$ out after he screwed up Vietnam. I just don't think people on the right realize how Democratic voters in this country work. I could care less if Hunter Biden goes to jail. If it brings down Joe Biden too if he's implicated in crimes.... next man up. I don't care. Nobody is above the law, but while Joe Biden is still obviously not implicated in his prodigal son's downfall, and he's passing meaningful legislation.... great. I just don't think their brains can comprehend that just because they worship their leader like a golden calf that it doesn't necessarily mean that we also worship our elected officials like gods. The guys are there to do an F-ing job. It's Democracy... not a cult. That fact makes their brains explode I guess.

This a million times. If Joe Biden did something wrong, then get rid of him and hold him accountable. I could care less about Hunter. Lock him up if he did something wrong. So far Biden isn't implicated in wrongdoing. That's refreshing. Trump is implicated, has never denied having documents that don't belong to him and has issued nonsensical excuses about their classification. Please hold any agents accountable that aren't acting appropriately within the FBI or any other government agency. Fixing problems and holding people accountable makes our nation better. Making excuses, ignoring problems, or supporting them because the problems upset people with different viewpoints makes our nation weaker. Don't take every claim as fact. But don't deny facts and evidence, either.
I don't know whether SA Thibault did anything wrong or not. I am not privy to any internal investigations. However, the fact that Fox and The NY Post and some other are making a big deal out of him retiring, handing over his badge and being escorted out by two officials is deceptive. First, all SA's when they leave the Bureau hand over their badge and they are escorted out by two members of security. So while it sounds juicy, it means nothing. Second, Thibault recently reached retirement age and his pension is fully vested. So it would make sense that he would retire. So, maybe they find out that Thibault did something terrible but what happened with him leaving really doesn't tell us anything.
Trump lives in a state of delusion. He's a full blown psychopath. His truth is an altered state in his mind. No remorse, no empathy, no sense of right and wrong, and certainly no loyalty to anyone but himself. Trump gives Patriotism a whole new meaning. Put that in your hats MAGA.
