Chase is expendable and is a pretty desirable trade asset.

Some of those highlights were sick and not the kind of thing where he was just beating up on D-League guys. Some of that you just can't teach.

I think he'll be starting by the end of the year. See what we can get for Scola, Chase, the '09ers, maybe pull the trigger on Kaman, and roll with a lineup like this and tons of cap flexibility for a run at Dwight:

    Lowry/Dragic
    Martin/Lee
    Morris/Parsons
    Patterson/(Morris)/(Kaman)
    Dalembert/Kaman

Even at this stage, his defense can't be worse than Bud's or can it?

Bud is a finished product, it seems like the Rockets think Morris has things he can improve on so they want him to get more playing time and accelerate his defensive development.

No, but Bud only played 9 minutes last game.

    They want Morris playing.

I am so PSYCHED!!! All our '11 draft picks look promising so far. Parsons is already a starter. D-Mo is ripping it up in Poland. Just need Mook to get back from his injury. Agree with OremLK. This kid is an innate scorer. Just need to see the D.

    Play him over who?

I doubt he takes Lee's or Parsons' minutes.

Bud is heading back to DNP land.

Its funny Morris has to be a complete player before he plays but there MAYBE one two way player on the roster.

I wonder if Morris will be a high efficiency guy a la Kevin Martin.

He wouldn't see the floor because of his defense on wing players. Not that he cant hang, but they just want to get him used to chasing wings off screens and such.

Switching from the post to the wings has seriously derailed the development of NBA players careers in the past. Its not something to take lightly with someone making that adjustment in their rookie season.

Without Parson's team defense on the perimeter this team would probably have lost a couple of those games a couple weeks ago. This team has no problem scoring the basketball, especially in the first half.

Read my post from earlier, he's transitioning spots. Give him a few weeks to get used to chasing around wing players. If you just throw Morris in there he wouldn't be able to do alot of the things that Parsons can do on defense and as a passer(which might be Parsons best quality) just yet.

The coach has the right to try and win games the best way he sees fit. Calm down and wait till after March 15th. Morris will get his chance.
