And yet is still higher than it was back in 2008 (thow slightly lower factoring in inflation).

I'm not sure how that would be Boehner's responsibility, though. He wasn't speaker when it went up.

Eric Cantor used to be popular with the crazies, until he actually was put in a leadership role and thus was hated. The same will happen to the next guy, because the crazies (and people like you) don't understand actual governing.

like Cantor and Hastert and Lott, Boehner will now go make millions lobbying for giant corporations

which tells you everything about why he was a terrible Speaker

Interesting that you're now opposed to free enterprise. Are you now opposed to people using their work experience to make money in the private sector?

Boehner did a remarkable good job. It is an uneasy thought to replace him. I'm neither democrat nor republican.

Shutting down the government is not "getting something done".

Neither is 50 Obamacare repeal votes, or suing the president because you didn't get what you want.

Boehner gonna push through some corporate welfare legislation before he goes out the door to his million dollar lobbying job. A nice gift to them to increase his salary.

I think he meant listening to the Pope, Mr. Boehner's spiritual leader, Mr. Boehner found the hypocrisy of allying with the forces of bigotry and greed too much guilt to bear.

    maybe.

I agree he got nothing done. He couldn't get anything done because the Dems wouldn't let them.

Problem was that the right has a crazy agenda and their only chip is shutting down the gov't or holding the country's credit hostage. Problem is, the Dems called the bluff every time.

So a crazy tea party speaker is just going to shut down the gov't longer or ruin the U.S. credit even more. But I don't think the Dems take kindly to blackmail.

except that if you read earlier he pretty much agrees that the bat**** crazy individuals in his own party (surprise...surprise) pretty much played the largest role in the stagnation.

I love the justifications brought up by the loony right. The second someone from their own party concedes to something that is wrong with them, he is an outsider.

Just keep believing that everything you guys are doing is for the good of all I guess.

    except what?

Just so you know, calling your political opponents 'crazy' is not compelling to anyone. It makes it appear that you are ignorant and just bad at presenting your argument. You would be better off replacing 'crazy' with whatever view point you are referring to by 'crazy'. Ridicule by itself is uninteresting.

Crazy is the correct term though.

yea again, nobody knows what the hell you are talking about. try replacing 'crazy' with whatever view point you find as 'crazy'.
