Who's Marcos? I don't spend time on DailyKos. Seems weird that you finance you are calling them "disgusting liberals". That's kind of what I was talking about and you agreed. You can't have it both ways.

The thing that's weird is that it sounds like someone left after a workplace dispute and then started shooting, but then you hear there was more than one shooter and they were wearing tactical gear and might have had pipe bombs, etc. - the first aspect sounds like someone had a fit of rage, but then you see all the planning that apparently went into this and that more than one person was involved, and then it does look more like some act of terrorism. Strange.

    CNN now names two shooters:

    Syed Farook, Tashfeen Malik

When you search the second name on Facebook, you only find guys' profiles. But CNN also says that there was a man and a woman in the SUV. Could the second name also be a woman's name?

The suspect in the Southern California shooting that left 14 dead traveled to Saudi Arabia earlier this year and returned with a wife.

Co-worker Patrick Baccari says Syed Farook was gone for about a month in the spring. When he came back word got around Farook had been married, and the woman he described as a pharmacist joined him shortly afterward. A baby followed.

Baccari says the reserved Farook showed no signs of unusual behavior, although he grew out his beard several months ago.

From the LA Times and other sources
    http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/...ican-dream-co-workers-say-20151202-story.html

They took the 6 month old to their grandparents before any of this happened and told them they had a Doctor's appointment.

This is a premeditated attack. And from watching the live news feed they were saying that him being upset at the meeting was more about him making sure the location was able to be hit before going in. It looks like he wanted to make sure this had mass effect, and he used a situation he knew (his work) where he knew it was a soft target.

There is also this unconfirmed report:

"IED facility at the redland home, with remote controlled cars and explosives. via Fox News" Unconfirmed.

Will President Obama update his comments he made really early during this situation?

About the fact that mass shootings are too common an occurrence in our society?

That statement is certainly not incorrect.

But his statement that ISIS and other Islamist terrorism has nothing to do with Islam is.

IF it turns out that this attack was motivated by that ideology (too early to tell, but if reports are correct that the guy recently spent a month in Saudi Arabia, then grew out his beard, etc., then a religious radicalization does not seem unplausible as a motive), then treating it just as another random act of gun violence while repeating (through omission) the mantra that "Islamist terror has nothing to do with Islam" might not be telling the whole story?

Do you disagree with this statement?

"A very small, radical, hate-filled, extremist, fundamentalist, terrorist wing does exist. Many of its followers follow a fundamentalist version of Islam called Wahhabi. However, Islam also has a much larger peaceful, moderate wing. Unfortunately, the former seem to capture all the media's attention, while the latter is rarely heard from or discussed by non-Muslims."

No idea. I don't think it matters, though. Either that guy agrees with it or not, regardless of who said it.
