At 2:29 p.m., Groseclose interfered with U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) officers as they attempted to prevent the mob from progressing farther into the Capitol. As USCP tried to close a security door located on the east side of the Crypt, Groseclose and other prevented the door from closing by placing chairs, trash cans, and other objects under the door. Groseclose and others also used their hands to lift the door as it was closing. Ultimately, Groseclose and the mob prevented the door from closing and moved toward the retreating USCP officers.

So does that mean that more of the J6 insurrectionists should’ve been shot.?

Where were the batons, tear gas, and rubber bullets? That’s what they should’ve unleashed on Jan 6th

 

Can't tell what catalyzed that push. But maybe there's a lawsuit in it for her, and I would encourage her to pursue legal remedies if she was wronged. Not sure what else there is to be said here. Police brutality doesn't justify the riot after the fact, and neither does the riot justify police using unjustified force against rioters. Take it to court and sort it out.

I was wondering the same thing. You can't see what happened before the shove, or if she did something to the cops before that happened. If she did nothing, then yeah, and even if she did, it looks like unjustified force. I'm with ya. Let the courts sort it out. Weird thing is the guy sharing that story thought Chauvin was justified holding his knee to Floyd's neck, and slowly choking him to death, as he pleaded for his life and bystanders told him he wasn't breathing, begging him to stop. He never condemns whites killing people of color or straights killing gays. He doesn't disapprove of all violence, hate crimes, or killings.

I know Trump's been hinting about using military force against rioters and protesters if he gets elected again, pointing out Chicago and New York, and the protests after George Floyd. He never talks about cities with higher murder rates in red states though, or places with a huge majority of whites. He'd probably issue orders to shoot them all if those insurrectionists were a bunch of Mexicans, blacks, or Muslims storming through barriers, breaking through windows, and shouting to kill or hang one of his people. Certain others on here probably agree with that mentality as well. Racism and an authoritarian/dictator mindset is a horrible and scary thought.

 

Remember when Trump got mad when his MAGA coup rally people had to go through metal detectors at the rally? He wasn't worried about them shooting him. He had a coup planned, and knew those extremists had other targets.
