The law enforcement officials were overly restrained in order avoid casualties. There was no liability on the part of the Law Enforcement at all.

This instance has little to do with who was right or wrong between capital police and 1/6 insurrectionist. Both sides were just doing what they understood to be their jobs. Ashley Babbitt was in a cult and paid the same price that people from Jonestown paid. The rest of those Trumpers were very lucky to get a second chance in life. Hell some of them even are getting rewarded with leadership positions in government by the Republican Party and it’s voters like commodore, Sura, Astrodome, etc.

So to my point about information warfare, we are losing if we allow people like Sura/Commodore to hijack the primary factor in the conversation that is the fact that Trump sent thousands of his own supporters to their fate in a last ditch effort to stay in power.

It was a cult leader with the feds closing in asking his followers to drink the cool aid. It wasn’t about whether the Jonestown woman who died as a result or the feds were the problem… it’s about Jim Jones who was the villain. If you engage in a conversation about whether or not the Jonestown cult member or the Feds were the real problem you let Jim Jones off the hook… which is the primary objective of this disinformation warfare.

Trump is the antagonist of 1/6 and 100% of the blame is on him for being the first president in our history to attempt a coup to stay in power and overturn a democratic election. He should be rotting in prison the rest of his life.

 

Also reminder that Rep Jackie Speier was also a victim of the Jonestown massacre as a Congressional staffer at the time trying to uncover the truth about Jim Jones. I can only imagine the PTSD she must have felt on 1/6.

Everything you said happening doesnt preclude other factors contributing. I wouldn't think it would be impossible to stop unarmed loonies from breaching the Capitol grounds. I bet they couldn't do that today. Why do you turn to personal insults? You are a better poster than that.

 

Depend on how many armed loonies there are. Also depends on your definition of unarmed. Also, many were armed before breaching the Capitol.

Many of those involved in the attack were armed, and several had guns that police later seized.
