Part of me respects the GOPers who are standing up against this madness.....

The larger part of me is screaming "Where the **** were you when you could have done something to stop it?"

The helicopters are spinning round in Trump's head, he's passing gas, and the tears are running down his face, as he screams over and over "China is paying Twitter to suspend my account!"

It's like we've been saying since the Impeachment and everything else they enabled him to do. They knew! They all knew! They knew he was Unfit for Duty!

Because they either underestimated how much of a lunatic he is or thought they could use/bear him for 4 years (or 8) , and then just watch him go away with business back to usual.

It is coming to back to bite them hard in the ass. just when they thought they were done with him.

    You reap what you sow.

I think it's possible to do and say both. It is fine to be upset they didn't act sooner and let Trump get away with so much crap. And at the same time be happy that they aren't being as foolish now.

A student who fails a test, fails a test. That doesn't mean they don't get credit for the answers they responded to correctly. (But it's still an F)

I'm awaiting Basso, TJ, and Bigtexxx to let me know how today's actions are good for the country. I anticipate being educated. Thanks

He got the action he wanted from his supporters that served his purpose but won’t achieve his goal of stopping the certification tonight. At the time I wrote that it seemed as though they’d be done for the day which gave more time to continue to push the certification to a 12th amendment scenario that is likely the goal that the house republicans are putting in Trumps ear that they think is a real possibility. Just gum up the Senate certification enough and for a long enough time.

It’s exactly what Cruz’s intent was today too and still is. 10 day investigation???... yeah right. It’s delay tactics to somehow get to a House vote. That’s it.

But no now it looks like it’s all done tonight thank God.

Yes our own Senator who represents me and you is an active traitor to the republic.

    I know, because I am.

They had the chance to kick him out of office, but the vast majority of the GOP turned out to be a bunch of gutless f***weasels.

Say what you want about Ted, and I have, but you cannot call him dumb. He knows exactly what he's doing, I just hope future voters see through it.

Trumpism is the growth and extension of the Tea party.

Guess that makes it ok. How else are we going to let the Americans voices be heard?

Why the **** are these republicans so addicted to Trump?

I probably in the minority here, but I was more appalled to find out 74M people voted for the guy... and he still lost.

I'm not suggesting today was a walk in the park, but the wrap up of this election could have been much much worse. I suppose he has a couple weeks left to bomb Iran.
