theres a podcast called behind the bastards and they have been doing a series called behind the insurrection. theres a two-parter on hitlers munich beer hall putsch. its disturbing to listen to and theres definitely a warning there for us.

the nazis blamed all the violence on the left (sound familiar?). all those involved basically got a slap on the wrist. hitler was charged with high treason and only served 9 months in a country club "prison". people didnt take them seriously and they were all emboldened.

one lesson that should be clear is that people who commit treason and insurrection against their country should be held accountable.
