My fave breakfast places, in no particular order, and the parts of town they are in.....

NY Bagel Shop (just west of Meyerland)
    Kenny & Ziggys (Galleria area)
    Annie's Hamburgers (Westbury)
    Buffalo Grille (below Greenway Plaza)
Avalon Diner (on Westheimer in River Oaks)
    Empire Cafe (Montrose)
    Brazil (Montrose)

Sunday Brunch - Magnolia Bar & Grille (Richmond @ Fountainview)

Man, I forgot about some of those places (moved to Dallas a year and a half ago)

Yeah, Fatty...if you just want traditional breakfast...go to Avalon on Westheimer (between Shepherd and Kirby) or Buffalo Grille (on Bissonnet between buffalo speedway and kirby)

They have a Sunday Brunch? Color me interested.

In the Montrose area, there's the Chapultepec (I know I didn't spell that right) near Richmond & Montrose. They have great salsa! Or a little further west, there's the taqueria tapatilla off Richmond near Mandell/Dunlavy/Woodhead (in that area). It's good, but it's not as "hole-in-the-wall" as it was a few years ago.

Duuuuuuuude, ya gotta check it out. It's like $20, with the usual buffet stuff, Cajun style food and seafood including peel and eat shrimp, and bottomless ( ) mimosas.

Plus, on some Sundays they have live music that starts at 11 or 12 on the patio.
