I am a season ticket holder who's ticket rep asked me if I wanted to go and bring a guest, that's how myself and Big M were able to attened. I would first like to second what Big M said about it being a great experiance and I would also like some of ya'll who have riped the Rockets organization for not being fan friendly to realize this is just one of many great events I have been to in the last 12 months. Everyone in Houston, show up to the draft party and have a big time! FYI- The rowdist 30 fans get full lower bowl season tickets!
As far as the event goes I will post some info about what JVG said regaurding the draft prospects after Wednesday's night draft as far as the coments made about potential free agents and or current Rockets I think it is best if that info is not shared until October and camp rolls around. I watched Hayes demolish my Florida teams for years in college and he always showed a real unique combination of skills: very soft hands, great lateral quickness, impressive wingspan, reach, and length for his height, impressive strength and center of gravity, and an aggressive attitude around the basket. The NBA contributor who he immediately brings to mind (sorry for the Florida comparison) is Udonis Haslem. His mid-range jumper isn't there yet and he is actually a bit shorter, but Hayes has the same intangibles, physical play, and bodily strength. He forces bigger players to face the basket, just like Haslem did to Dirk in the Finals.
