After thinking all day why my beloved Rockets haven't progressed to the championship caliber team that they should be I have come up with a theory as to why we haven't and how to fix it. It isn't player power, we had a sweet team two years ago with Sura/MJ/JB/T-Mac/Yao ect.. ect.. they had that chemistry that championship teams had.. what happend? Well the curses kicked in. Thats right~

Every year it seems the same things happen, and every year things don't go our way.

Face it, the sooner we break the curses the sooner we win our title

Curse #1 - The T-Mac curse

The Thought:
Every year that T-Mac has been in the NBA one of his family members croke, and every year that one of his family members die he has never progressed past the first round in the playoffs.

The Solution:
Keep T-Macs lineage healthy for a year. Make sure they stay inside, make sure they eat their veggies, make sure when they drive down the road that they are escorted by at the very least two Houston police officers on each side, we must keep these people alive. They need to go to the docter for their regular check-ups, NBA is in more of the winter time so drowing in a pool shouldn't be an option, stay out of the inside heated pools please, get your flu shots, just make sure by the time the season ends you are still breathing.

The conclusion:
We will once again be able to advance through the 1st round in the playoffs, not only that but T-Mac will be emotionally relieved and play all year with a healthy mind.

Curse #2 - The curse of Howard

The Thought:
Every team he plays for sucks

The Solution:
Removal from Roster

The Conclusion:
I really do like Juwana Mann's 18 footer, it is really great, but history proves its point and he turns every team he goes to into a loser. Ridding him would not only free up a ton of money for the Rockets but it would allow other PF's to be given a chance that they have definitly not recieved thus far

Curse #3 - Summer League

The Thought - Ok, it might not be a curse.. yet, that is why we need to kill it before it migrates into one. The Rockets had a great series against the Mavs and all had high hopes for the forcoming year, the Summer League began and we plowed over each team to go undefeated, the players had stats and the spread sheet had wins, which only led to one of the biggest let-down~injury plagued years this orginization has seen in awhile.

The Solution - Novak and the boys keep busting stats but just "accidently" lose one game.

The Conclusion - The Rockets will rule next year

And while speculating it seems a curse of the Grizzlies is coming whether or not sending back one of their busts will destroy it or not will be told in several months. In the meantime you can add your own recgonized curses set on the Rockets, and remember~curses can be broken with a miracle and we all know a healthy T-Mac can and has worked miracles.

So whats this all mean? Whats the point of all this? Hows three curses fit in together?? Here it is, the conclusion to my theory:

Break Curse 3 and we have a good year, we will be able to make the playoffs
Break Curse 1 and we can get past the first round after making the playoffs
Break Curse 2 and we can be a winner past the first round

The end story is we will have the pleasure of holding up another trophy and then getting to wave it in Cubens face braggin about how we have 3 and he has zero which will probably kick off a new curse where Dallas wins every year and we go lotto bound, but atleast we got that title!!

Imo there is no curse if you don't believe in one. And that's what I chose to do. Why break something that isn't there? ;)

Curses are vital in pro sports, without having a curse to complain about you are forced to complain about other factors like "Player heart/Coaching/GM Decisions/Chemistry/ basically factors that do have a roll in the outcome".

So lets blame the curses, I think the best thing about complaining about a curse is the fact that theres no flame wars or arguements

Well if it happens it needs to happen before Game 7 of the NBA Championships between the Rockets and Nets

Ok that was wrong, I'm sorry :p but thats terrible, if a family member dies it needs to be like the pet fish or somthin that goes, I'm sick of hearing about people dieing, its everywhere.

The Vince Carter dying was a joke on our other friend who is a big VC fan and thinks the Nets are a better team than the Rockets... (WHAT A JOKE!!!)

My friend, who likes the Kings and Rockets, and started talking about how TMac always loses a family member. Then we decided to start a joke on our friend who lies VC and told him he was gonna die!!..

Sick Humor!!!

Ain't it just silly that we don't pass the first round because of T-mac's family? Laughed long on that one.. stupid.

I thought he had bought the team AFTER winning back to back? Wasn't that what really sold him??

But, we did???

No, he did a Pat Riley and got in while the gettin' was good. He bought the team the same year we won our first championship. Patterson built that first team.

But in his defense, he brought in Drexler the next year and helped us win our 2nd.
