The difference is that he played his heart out. The only time that I respected Tracy was after his 40 point game against the Jazz.
Lol...This cananzo guy or whatever sure is getting on my nerves. First he wrote about how we were going to choke, that the pressure of getting out the first round was too much. Then he disses our fans and city...
I just replied in the comments to the article, refuting the bull***** claims about Rockets fans that don't fit with reality. I'll check back in a day or so to see if it got posted and denied.
just emailed the writer John- First of all, let me say how much I have enjoyed reading your columns during the Rockets/Blazers series. I am a Rockets season ticket holder and I thoroughly enjoyed reading your columns throughout the Rockets/Blazers series. While I may have disagreed with your "Rockets will choke" story, I have to admit it was well written and you seem to be a great local fan/writer. However, in your last column discussing the Game 6 loss, you made a few statements that are unfair and untrue and paint Rockets fans in a negative light. I sat four rows behind the Portland bench during Game 6, and our fans NEVER threw anything at the Portland bench. There were no cups thrown and there was nothing personal yelled at any of the fans that I heard (other than your typical fans yelling at opponents about flopping or fouls). While I think that the streamers were dropped a bit prematurely at the end of the game, I absolutely dispute your claims that fans threw cups at the Blazers team. Also, when Artest asked that the stadium give the Blazers a round of applause, the fans gave them a louder ovation that a "golf clap". While our fans are definitely not as loud or as passionate as Blazers fans have shown to be during this playoff series (I was very impressed with the Blazers fans' cheering and team support), your article painted Rockets fans as classless jerks (like the Jazz fans). I don't know if you typed those things because you were angry about a disappointing playoff loss, but I do know that they are untrue and I think you should retract your statements and apologize. Anyways, your team has a bright future ahead of them and are one player away from being a true championship contender. Brandon Roy has proven that he deserves to be mentioned with the Lebron's, Kobe's and Wade's of the world Blake
