I really don’t see how he escapes being charged. Man it’s going to be an all around sad story if he is. He should turn pro after tonight & get the hell outta there.
One minute after he signs his rookie contract, he's going to be sued by the deceased family. He's radioactive now.
He is a nice player. I watched the game, Alabama vs South Carolina and he was dominating. He was hitting prime time 3 pointers and in the overtime sessions he kept driving to the basket. I’m shock how he played tonight and I think he might be better than Jabari. He is a good shooter but when his shooting was off, he did not just keep shooting….he started to drive to the basket to make points. He reminds me of Paul George a lot
I still would turn pro and get the hell outta there. He’s got nothing left to gain by playing college ball after tonight. I’d go home to my family, hire an agent and start getting ready for the draft
After finally reading the whole story it’s hard for me to see him not being charged as an accessory to murder. I think there’s more than enough evidence (if the cops are telling the truth) to show probable cause. It might very well be wrong place wrong time but I wouldn’t want the Rockets to touch this with a ten foot pole. I know everyone is desperate for talent this Summer but I don’t think the Rockets need that incoming headache.
He is my new number 3 if what his lawyer says is true. It's really hard to tell if what a lawyer writes is true. It's easier when they're speaking-- you know they're lying because their lips are moving. What, me jaded? Impressive basketball talent. Maybe (I hope) he's a really decent kid, and we'll be glad to warmly welcome him.
Yeah, I would draft this kid at 3. He would be your starting SF day 1. Could see a bulked up Jabari and Miller playing 4/5 and putting a ton of points up.
So was Ray Lewis and Leonard Little. Its sad that someone was killed but in today's society, it'll be forgotten over time.
I'm listening to a very good discussion on ESPN 97.5FM with John and Lance. I think because the gun was Darius Miles' gun and he texted Miller to return it to him, Miller technically did not do anything wrong. To me, that does not make him culpable. However, if the gun was Miller's and he gave the gun to Miles, that's different.
