I know he had some nagging injuries or whatever but c'mon. He couldn't carry his NCAA team, and you're going to expect him to come in and carry an NBA team? Everything about him screams "solid roleplayer" to me. Catch-and-shoot guy who plays solid but not all-NBA defense. There are plenty of 3-and-D guys we can pick up with the Clippers pick, they won't be quite as good or quite as safe as Miller, but they'll get you 80-90% of his talent without having to blow a top 3 pick in a loaded draft class. Honestly at this point he's #7 on my draft board. (Wemby, Scoot, Walker, Thompson twins, Whitmore, then Miller.)
I don’t put much stock in tournament play people were on Mudiay’s, I mean Jalen Sugg’s, nuts during the 2021 tourney…“he’s a winner”…”he’s a big game player” etc Miller should be in consideration if we don’t get a top 2 pick

Always has been IMO, the media just likes to hype certain guys and create drama to get clicks/views. But that "everyone else" is still a pretty deep draft class, and that includes Miller. I think a lot of good NBA players are going to come out of this draft.
Walker moved up for me. He looks like a defensive standout and a good shooter with space. Miller will be fine and the rockets will get a good player no matter where they draft 1-6.
Seems like Miller let all his rounds off in the conference tournament and ended up shooting blanks in the more hyped up National tournament, ish happens
I mean, Jabari's been hitting shots and looking like the best player on the team for about a month now, so maybe not the best time to make that comparison.
No. Banchero and Murray were considered more NBA ready. They may have said shooter, but scorer, no I don't think so. He was super young, it was well known it would take him time to acclimate.
