it becomes a 5th round pick depending on how many receptions he gets

Atleast he didnt go to the Titans. Look if we can make it the playoffs with AJ, Foster and Schuab healthy, this team team can score with anyone. We have only had AJ and Foster on the field for a total of 2 quarters. You saw what we are capable of last year on offense and the defense this year looks like the real deal.

    It's 30 receptions. You'd hope it becomes a 5th rounder.

We have to give the Jets a 7th rounder if Mason catches 30 more passes this season.

I guess there's a 3/game standard for trades like this?

Lloyd would've been better than what Gary couldve found in the 5-6th rounds. But I guess they'd rather save those picks for more tight ends and cornerbacks.

If Mike Sims-Walker get released, as expected, he wouldn't be a bad option and on the cheap too. Worst case, he's done and they simply release him.

Which means we would have had to give up a conditional 4th or added on future picks.

i don't mind them not getting Lloyd at that price. The guy only had one big year and is 30. No to mention, and the most important factor here, is that he's a FA after this season so I don't think the texans are looking to spend a pick on a 11 game rental.

Thats the problem...The Patriots would, The Jets would, The Ravens would, The freakin Rams did...... A 5th rounder isnt a for sure thing.... Yes he had one good year, but why not get him..... I dont think we were in the running anyhow.... Its obvious they wanted him in the cellar...

What has a 4th or 5th round pick ever done for the Texans?

I guess we're gonna battlefight with what we got.

    Then why didn't they?

Why didn't the titans, who probably need help at receiver more than any other team in the league?

You mean Pro Bowlers at WR, TE and RB?

Oh really. We are set at RB depth and TE depth so that's not a problem.

What depth do we have at WR? Look at how we are struggling without AJ. Jones flat out sucks and Walters isn't a true #2 option. Having Lloyd instantly makes our offense better because it takes away pressure from AJ.
