Yes i know, both have had better days then how they have played recently, imo its worth kicking the tires on these guys, i mean for petes sake we picked up eric gordon for 13 mil a year. We need a wing who can play some defense as ariza isnt playing how he use to and someone who can handle on the wing (stephenson) and point guard has been a weakness forever the least jennings can do is be a backup at a decent price. What do you guys think? Imo it's 2 not so risky chances and if 1 can pan out and play half as good as how they could it could be huge.
I wonder what it would take to try and snag pj tucker and Tyson chandler lol. I would love some toughness to this team
Lance , he will cost less and has a much higher defensive upside . Sure he's prolly a bit crazier but Houston might work for him . Who knows ? I probably wouldn't take a flyer on either of them if there were less risky options .
I would never sign Lance Stephenson. He failed himself, if he would have just remained decent he would be worth at 17 mil a season this summer.
dude jennings obviously. with this new crazy cba we should be taking advantage of our chepaer contracts and PLAY THEM! beasley and capela are in th erotation but harrel and kj havent got a fair chance. we got plenty wings, we need pgs.
Stephenson. His D is better than any wing on team not named Ariza, and maybe better than Ariza depending on matchup. Would be 2nd best point on team if signed right now, not even close. And is only 25 years old.
I think jennings is the safer bet but lance got a higher upside tbh, and i forgot how young he is dude looks like hes on the edge of 30
Lance has been bad for years and still cant hit a jumper. There's a reason his recent struggling team decided not to take his option. Cmon people we have to start watching multiple teams during the season so we can be educated once free agency starts
You must be thinking of his time in Charlotte and with Clips. Because his production on offense and defense with Pacers is well documented. With Memphis he was averaging 14 ppg on just 26 mpg. He was also shooting 3's at 40% and 35% respectively the last 2 seasons. He has absolutely out played Jennings and you are the one not following him closely, if at all. Lance's issues are behavioral but he's been on his best behavior recently.
