Wow he drives a Ford and lives in a modest place! I think he really has matured. He does get a bad rap , well I wish him the best.

I've also liked Jennings, and liked that he jumped to Europe rather than the NCAA's indentured servitude sham.

He's slick and disgustingly quick - and if that jumper shows up 70% of the time, he's going to be an All Star.

I agree that he's got an attitude issue. When it's relegated to Shoulder Chip, great, but a non-team focus isn't what gets you wins at the PG position.

He isn't playing for a good team so he probably gets more playing time.

I remember there were people on this website hating on him for choosing to go to Europe instead of college. Looks like it turned out great for him. He got paid for playing bball, got paid with an endorsement deal from Under Armor, and he might end up being a trend setter. He probably also got more of an education living and traveling in Europe than he would've by taking basic classes at a college. Also, I'm probably one of the few people to have seem him play in person at the Summer League and you can look up my quick report on him in Yoyo's summer league thread, but I'll summarize it for you by saying that he is the real deal.

I was on BJ's AAU squad for a couple years and I must say that I never thought that he would have this kind of impact in the NBA. Amazing...

I'm playing for a JC right now. Just trying to use basketball to pay for school you know? I don't have that elite quickness nor the elite size that you need to play in the pro game unfortunately.:(

because you don't know who a rookie point guard is who didn't play college.

    what a ridiculous statement

Jennings today: 32 pts on 11-19 FG, 9 asts, did have 4 TO.

More importantly the bucks beat Denver 108-102 and Jennings scored 14 of his 32 in the 4th (6 were icing the game free throws).

Count me on the bandwagon for now. The way he played in the 4th quarter was very telling. Like I said in the other thread, Jennings has that "it" factor that special players have. If his shooting stroke holds up during his career, Jennings has incredible potential.

I'm impressed with his court vision. He is a true PG. If his shooting gets better,he will be unstoppable. His defense isn't bad either. I thought poorly of him when he dissed Sessions, but he is showing a fair amount of maturity right now. I thought he needed another year in Europe before coming, but the Bucks must be very happy with him so far.

I've liked Brandon Jennings for awhile now. Coming into the draft I thought he had the potential to be the best point guard out of the bunch because he'd be familiar with the pro game. Despite all this, I'm shocked at how quickly he's having an impact on his team. They're winning, and Michael Redd has already gone down with his annual injury! Check out his interview on NBATV, he seems like he's just happy to be the in the NBA. I'm a fan of Brandon Jennings.

I got Jennings on all my fantasy squads and hes a beast. Going overseas did alot of things for him off the court as well as on the court. He is very humble and comparing him to marbury is far off. BJ can end up being a beast in this league, Im picking him for ROY.

Meh, had he done this in college last year he would have been drafted 1st and not 10th. True statement. See, e.g., Derrick Rose.

going to Italy may not have helped his game all that much. I think it did personally. I know with out a doubt going helped get his mind right. Before he went over seas he was a spoiled brat who did not want to listen. Now that has changed for sure.
