I like this kid a lot, almost like the anti Amen Thompson not athletic but ridiculously clean jumper. If you leave him open that shot is going on. Almost Curry-like tbh (Seth or Steph). His playmaking is also really good, he has had some crazy passes.

If the plan is to go with Amen the Rox should try to get another pick and draft this dude just so they are covered on both ends, they'll have the all world athlete with lacking shooting and the all world shooter with lacking athleticism.

I’m not seeing the lacking athleticism at all.
He tested almost identical to Cam Whitmore. It shows on tape too.
    Wingspan? That’s a different story

It shows when he lack separation to get by his man. Think about it, with a jumper that wet why isn't he a lotto pick.

I don’t see that on tape, he finishes at the rim at will

Separation is different from finishing. You can see his lack of separation starting at 8:20.

Again BP isn't a lotto pick despite his nos, playmaking, size and shooting ability. He has to have a hole somewhere otherwise he'd be top 10 in mocks. With that said I like him a lot and think his ceiling is a lot higher than most realize.

I don’t see him struggling getting by his man at all, not consistently.
I’m not even a fan of his, just saying I don’t see what they’re talking about with their scouting reports.
The guy tested almost identically to Whitmore athletically

Like I said watch at 8:20 you see him not being able to blow by his man. I dunno if it's consistent or not but since these are non nba level athletes if he can't blow by them he is gonna have an even tougher time in the NBA. Whitmore relies on his big and muscular body, him and BP running at the same speed generate different amounts of force.

Like I said for the xth time why isn't BP a lock for lotto if he was as athletic as Whitmore? You'd think a guy shooting 44% from 3 while being as athletic as Whitmore would at least get top 15 consideration.

I can’t answer that question, he might be on some boards. He’s not overly long so that’s a factor as well.
Plus the elephant in the room of stereotypes.

    Brandin Podziemski

    College Head Coach 3
(his team played Santa Clara): He’s really good with the ball. He can really shoot. He’s got deep range. He’s got a good body and good size. … We just tried to stay attached to him, keep him inside the line, make him make some decisions. We were attentive to him from the beginning of the game. And we shot the crap out of the ball. Certainly efficient from 3. Good in the midrange. They fixed some things. …

They were taking hard 2s at the rim (early in the season). As the year went on and teams played him that way, he got really good at 2s and pull-ups, not all the way down where he was shooting over 7-footers. I caught several of his games later on in the season. He’s just a really good player. He can really score. The Illinois coaches told us he would have days in practice where he would just kill it. The starters couldn’t stop him. Getting out there with Herb (Sendek), he was on the court all the time. He didn’t feel like he had to do it all in one possession, play though mistakes, keep shooting.
