They never released the settlement number but it wasn't close to $1.5 mil. I read six figures though.

Some early reports listed the full 1.5 million. Googling, I see that number is incorrect.

 

This article from earlier this month said it was "faction" of the 1.5 million that, if nothing else, allowed him to pay his prep school tuition for this year
