Just signed extension making him untradable (with, lol, a "no trade" clause, maybe the only one in the league?) for team he... just now realized stinks pretty much forever?

    C'mon brad.

I thought he was Ok going in just being insanely overpaid and going to become a "Mr. Wizard" type player who never played on good teams but becomes a fixture for the franchise and the area for his whole career.

I could possible win a championship and become a NBA legend
    or
    250 million dollars. . . .

Beal could not do both . . . he chose

In all seriousness though, Jalen Green and the #4 for Beal?...

    What's the price?

In all seriousness, why? You want to continue being mediocre while also paying a premium? Why not just stay status quo and save the money?

Honestly I wouldn’t take Beal straight into our cap space for free, I would expect assets coming to us for taking on that terrible contract.

He’s like a 3A or 3B level player making 1A money for the next 4 seasons while only demonstrating the ability to play 50 games a season the last few years.

I mean if Beal can go back to being a positive defender like earlier in his career, then it could work with Dame. Otherwise it's just the same issues Dame/CJ backcourt had. Portland may not really have a choice at this point to keep Dame. Wizards would take Scoot or Amen so at the end of the day nothing much changes for the Rockets imo..i alrady expect Miller to be the one that falls if Hornets take Scoot. If Scoots at 3, hes gone, so we still end up with Amen and the other options as before
