His defense is better than I thought. I remember one possession where Lopez had the ball deep in the paint. He was posting up and it looked like was going left, but he turned to his right shoulder instead. Miller pretty much read him and took a step in that direction to cut him off.
he does not have cornrows, we will forgive him about that also Miller is a vet, quality vet and it was a good move by Morey to sign him
Very good game considering that he is new to the team and having had previous participation in the camp. This could really be an interesting year for the Rockets.
What I really about having miller is just like Armstrong we're getting a player who knows the offense already. RA's R&R seems to be a bit more complex than we realized, so its great to have a guy who understands it already. He can teach the new guys (Hill, PP, C-bud) how to run it properly, and maybe give Yao, Martin and Brooks a refresher course
Brad was very crafty tonight. His shot was looking good. Even the 3 pt. that didn't count. He is going to surprise a lot of people.
You see. This is what i was talking about to others. Its not so much just Yao back. Its having two 7 footers. On a nightly basis they both can score double digits within the amount of minutes they will get. In essence you still have a Yao ming down there in terms of production if you get 11 from Yao a night and only 8 to 10 from Brad Miller. Thats about 20 something points from your center position every night. Not including the spot minutes Hill will take and score 1 or 2 buckets. Something like 20 points and 11 rebounds still from that position. No to mention adding Millers passing abilities now and his ability to gaurd the three point centers the other teams liked to used to use against Yao to stretch out our defense. Thats no longer works because Miller can shoot threes and gaurd out there now. So Yeah. Experts didnt think of that one. Miller and Yaos production together. We didnt Scola back yet guys. Thats something else to consider.
