This is the dumbest gif ever. There's zero rim protection in those clips. What do you want him to do there?

Bullcrap. In every fansite I have been EVERYWHERE even european sites fans critisize their players. Spurs fans even critisize and badmouth Duncan and Pop.

Comparing Harden's and Curry's defence is another BS. Curry may not be a lockdown defender but he is just bellow average to average. He TRIES. He even can box out and get rebounds.

Harden doesnt' have to generate offence by his own. The point of getting Lawson in the first place was so that he won't have to do all by himself and he could focus more in the defensive end. But all I see is Harden dribbling the ball most of the time and then iso.

Coaching matters but also what matters is EFFORT by the player and leader of this team. There is none.

    All in all 0/10 post.

Not get beat so easily by his man.

You simply can't comprehend what you are seeing. Happens to casual fans who dont pay much attention to defence.

Curry would feel offended for comparing him with Harden now.

If there are two people this season that haven't really performed below expectations, it is Thornton and Dwight. I am making this conclusion knowing Dwight would miss back to backs. Both have been productive in their minutes here. Every basketball player is going to make mistakes, but no fingers should be pointed at these two.

Erroneous conclusion for Dwight. Shot blockers often stay in the paint and slightly contest midrange jumpers from opposing players that cannot shoot them well (not the LMAs of the league).

I don't think you understand the difference between effort and lack of production. We were ok last year with Harden not shooting great to start the season because he was trying on both sides of the court (and still playing well too). This year, he's acting like a whiny teenager throwing a fit out on the court. Of course people will criticize him. And of course people will criticize too far. Remember, some thought we didn't need Dwight last year too. Realize also how much people hate one way players. Then when those players don't give effort either?

Yes because what everyone is advocating here is to trade Harden.
Not to hold him accountable and critisize his mistakes. It's either trade or have a blackhole in defence who doesn't even try.

Lol I get what you're saying, Bucks are a really good, young and upcoming team. (I know you root for them). My point is that this is how a leader is supposed to re-act, you look at all the greats and they have one thing in common, they refuse to accept just being good enough, they want to be the best. The thing is that this team has no accountability for coasting on defense, gambling unnecessarily for a steal, being out of position, not running back after missed shots, not hustling for rebs. It's troubling to see that everyone is basically just going about the motions, I have yet to see one player get pissed off and light a fire under this team. In my high-school team, if you were jogging back after a turnover or missed shot, our coach & captain would put that person on blast. It's about having pride and being a professional, something this team seems to have forgotten unfortunately.

No need to be overdramatic. I think most reasonable people would be satisfied if he were giving anything resembling the effort he gave to start last season, defensively.

Where's the video on Lawson's non-existent D? Him and James together is a recipe for disaster and I don't see it getting better unless something changes.

If you think Howard is bad defensively ... what is wrong with you ?

This is the absolute worst defense I've seen from Harden, and that saying a lot.

Sad to say, but to me it seems like the criticism is warranted. He said it himself after the first 2 games, they were playing "too cool." That's exactly what he looks like right now. When we were down 15 points with a few minutes left and he was walking the ball up the court, I thought I was going to pop a blood vessel. Absolutely no sense of urgency.

His offense this year has consisted of him standing at the top of the key dribbling until a help defender comes from the corner, then he passes to the corner for a 3. Or he dribbles dribbles dribbles shoots a contested shot. Not to mention his handles have seemed off this season too.

He just seems like he is totally out of sink at the moment. Defensively it gets even worse. Those famous backdoor cuts are opening up again.

I still think we just need time to mesh, but our big three need to step it up in the effort department.

Last game of last season was the memorable 13 turnovers game. Followed by MVP claims all summer and big deals and publicity. Dude realized the worse he played the more fame he got. Tries to build on that this season.

When he positions himself between the ball and the offensive player...that **** is still mind boggling to me. It's like he's playing a sport, where the basket doesnt exist.

If it's not a coaching problem, then Harden needs to be benched because he's not listening. It's that simple.

so rockets fans are just suppose to be happy with whatever effort james harden decides to bless us with that game? because if you're not happy with his play and have a problem with him not giving a **** about the team, then the only option is to trade him because actually giving a **** about the team and playing like you care are out of the question?
