The market is pretty bare, it will be tough to find anyone that will move the needle. Signing woods was great, but losing covington is going to have a big impact this season. I know Gordon had a tough season, but imagine if the Rockets got rid of him also. Which they have little reason to do so, as they are under still about 2-3 million under the luxury tax.
Russ harden / McLemore House/ Nwaba Wood/ Tate/ Wooten Turner / Tucker / Bruno Isn’t a bad starting point. We would need a scoring threat off the bench though who can create and on a minimum... Is Dotson that guy?
That is why I am hoping we somehow get Kent Bazemore. He can hit the threes. So can Ben Mac and after a year of Harden and Westbrook should be able to replace austin. Gordon needs to be traded for a taller Gordon. Maybe we'll get Lucky and land Otto Porter Jr. Who we've all coveted.
Under no circumstances should Gordon be traded, unless its for a better player I agree. It seems like the only way we can make actual improvements is to trade Russ. But sadly there is not market for him.
I’m almost certain that if one of those two guys is moved before 12/22 it’s going to be Gordon. He will be packaged with a pick or two for a better player or multiple players to fill areas of need if I had to guess. safe guess is they are both here though. Trades are hard to make.

It was always just a fun idea with nothing pointing to it actually happening. @Rudyc281 I would like him as a back 4/5 at this point to be honest but I’m so used to small three guard lineups. Denver waived Keita Bates Diop. He’s an interesting small forward depth option.
That's the thing that makes all this so frustrating. Harden in limbo about signing/not signing because he wants help, but no one wants to come here because they are unsure if we are blowing it up... and round and round we go.
