Just a reminder: We have now lost Jeff Green and Covington and added Wood. I don’t think we’ve improved from last year as it stands right now.
Just a reminder We gained Nwaba and Tate So the score is 3 in: Wood / Nwaba / Tate 3 out: Jeff Green / Covington / Rivers Thabo / D Carroll / Chandler / LMaM were all cheerleaders Add Gerald Green and we got next! I feel good!
Haha. Come on man. Nwaba and Tate aren’t a win yet (if ever). I was being generous by not counting Rivers as a loss yet
We're like a day into free agency. Let's give them a few days to see where they stand. Also, it's hard to say, because we don't know the impact of having a new coach or what having a true stretch 5 will mean for both ends of the floor. Offensively, the starters are better on paper, and they're better on the boards. But I don't think you can immediately assume anything at this point. Silas' system could be a disaster. Harden and Westbrook may implode in the first week. Or maybe Wood is a legit All-Star, and they dominate the West. We just don't know.
This is how you disagree with someone respectfully. Everyone including myself can learn from this. Props
I’ll admit I didn’t watch him closely or know much about him. But I just looked at his numbers. You and I have very different definitions of balling out. That’s without factoring in the small sample size and very long rehab (which you did point out in your defense but still quite significant.) Anyway my point was one can’t say we “got Nwaba” to counter my “we lost Green or Roco”
We’re not going into rebuild until we can get fair market value for our stars. Not much they can do until other teams come up to our asking price.
