[BR] Why Nobody Wants to Face Dangerous Memphis Grizzlies in 2014 Playoffs

OKC would love to face the offensively inept Grizz since the Thunder apparently can't defend anyone else. (Except the Spurs.)

Not trying to be inflammatory, but the rockets need to beat ANYBODY in the first round, asking can they beat the grizzlies is a little premature.

Putting the cart before the horse. Last year the rockets absolutely should have beaten the trailblazers and got bounced.

So yeah, this year the rockets look a little better as far as regular season record goes, but ya'll need to do something in the playoffs before anybody is going to pick ya'll to beat a team like the grizzlies.

 

The Grizz will always have this problem. They can get to the playoffs and win a series or two, but when they get deep and face the best players they lose. Stars take over in a star driven league where the stars get the calls.

 

and I guess you don't consider Marc Gasol a star, but Dwight Howard is?

Wth is your problem. I never said either were. I am talking about chris paul, durant, lebron, dirk, duncan, and tony parker. These are the guys that get all of the calls come playoff time.

Rockets have the players to beat the Grizzlies at their own game.

Play lock down defense on them and shut them down. Let Harden dictate the offense on the other end.

If Rockets get another play maker on the perimeter to take the burden off of Harden, Rockets separate themselves even further.
